What we collect
- Order information: your email address, the courses you purchased, order totals, and order status.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as payment status and, where relevant, billing country for tax purposes.
- Support messages: the name, email address, order number, and message you send through our contact form.
- Technical data: essential cookies and server logs needed to operate the website securely.
Why we use it
- To deliver the course materials you purchased by email (performance of a contract).
- To provide customer support and handle refund requests.
- To meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
- To protect the website and our customers from fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails unless you have separately opted in.
Who we share it with
We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (database hosting), and Google (file hosting for course materials, where per-customer sharing is used your email address is shared with Google Drive to grant access).
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months after the inquiry is resolved.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support@getmedicalcourses.com to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
